about.

Upon hearing the words Moon Goddess, the first thing that came to mind was the moon surrounded by countless stars. Those stars soon became a sea that formed a shape resembling a dancing woman—the Moon Goddess—and taking the place of the Milky Way in a constellation map. Having the all-female line-up as bigger stars around this sea of stars is meant to further emphasize its role as the Moon Goddess in question.

what I learned.

From ideation to setting the finishing touches, each hour spent making this graphic was very enjoyable and filled with ‘aha’ moments. I learned a lot more about Illustrator and its capabilities, with special attention to its effects and text vectorization, and designed with hierarchy and readability in mind. If I had more time with this, I’d like to create graphics carousel post or 3-part banner with one long constellation map containing relevant festival information.
