about.

With A2, I wanted to play with the concept of a food diary that I’ve seen before but never really in this way. Noteberry is an app that functions as a personalized food diary, allowing you to note what you ate, the ingredients that made it up, and when you ate it (among other things). The simple, hand-drawn style reflects the casual, no-fuss nature of the diary, which encourages users to have fun with their entries.

what I learned.

Though I had some experience with UI design, this project really helped me consolidate my skills in Figma, especially with components, layout grids, and prototyping. The beginning of A2 also allowed me to keep practicing with logo design in Illustrator, which I really appreciated (particularly when I noticed the process going much smoother).
